The pumpkins are picked! We had a great time at the patch, I have scrapbooked most of the pictures, and now its time to paint! Yes we are painting the pumpkins red, or whatever color the kids decide! We have already carved pumpkins and I want these ones to last a few more weeks. Here are some pictures of the pumpkin patch and I will post more of the painting later!

Stinson the Garden(hallway) gnome

We have a little garden gnome named Stinson who has been with our family since Jeremy and I were married 8 years ago, or around that time anyways! He is a little upset with us because he has become a hallway gnome outside our front door in our apartment building. He recently allowed me to take this picture of him because he is pretty stoked that we brought him a littl piece of outdoors inside for him t enjoy this Fall season. You would think after all the years of staying outside all winter that he would be grateful for the indoor time, but that is a gnome for you!!

So my little girl is turning into a craft kid! Marlie is 5 and she is stating to want to make cards with stamps and pick out her own colors! She also is starting to help me make desserts! We haven't quite made it to the actual cooking dinner part, or the cleaning up part yet. My goal for age 6 is to get her to learn these valuable lessons!! She made her very first stamped card. She cut it out and glued it on the paper all by herself, I am so proud I had to share it! The other pictures are of her making Strawberry Rice Crispy treats!!

So here it is, my blog! I have joined the masses and decided that this is a fun way to share my projects and be cool and nerdy at the same time! My kids have made it pretty hard for me to scrapbook and make cards lately, but I still do it with them climbing al over me. My pages might not all be straight, but they are unique. The pictures below are of my recent projects and of my girls at Canadian Thanksgiving and carving pumpkins! My husbands family are Canadian and take full advantage of there holidays! The quilt is not finished, but you get the idea!
